Я пытался найти пример кода с использованием SQL Server 2005, мне нужно запустить задание агента и подождать, пока оно не завершит процесс, а затем получить успех или неудачу.

Я знаю, что я могу использовать

это не очень надежный метод, но я мог бы попытаться записать задание в определенную таблицу как в начале, так и в конце процесса, и опросить эту таблицу в моем клиентском приложении (или использовать события ADO, чтобы вызвать соответствующие обработчики событий).
