Top wallets on a chain by net flow, volume or realized PnL

Call /wallets/discover with chain, window and sort; it returns the top 20 wallets at most by volume, inflow, outflow, net flow, transaction count or realized PnL.

GET /v1/onchain/wallets/discover is a leaderboard. Pick chain, a window (24h, 7d, 30d, 90d or all) and a sort (volume, inflow, outflow, net_flow, tx_count or pnl), and it returns up to size=20 wallets with their window figures, plus total, the number of wallets that qualified. Rows carry addresses only: label them with /labels/batch. The full parameter list is on Discover wallets.

net_flow is inflow minus outflow in USD over the window, here 7 days, across 2,032,757 ranked wallets. Row 1 is a Coinbase wallet and row 3 is the Ethereum staking deposit contract, so a leaderboard of "buyers" starts with exchanges and contracts until you label it. All USD fields are plain dollars.

Variations

Net sellers. The same sort ascending puts the most negative net_flow first.

By volume on another chain. chain takes ethereum, bsc, base or hyperevm. On base and hyperevm only window=all is always served; a shorter window can be a 400.

Before you rely on it

realized_pnl is not a dollar figure you can trust

Many stored realized_pnl values are wrong: a 2026-10-12 sample of 500 Ethereum leaderboard wallets found 233 at least ten times the value a rebuild gives. It is also lifetime PnL in every window, not the window's. In the sort=pnl capture of the same day, the second wallet's realized_pnl of 6,505,394,599 matched its lifetime net outflow of 6,505,394,598 to within a dollar. Rank on net_flow, volume or tx_count instead.

A top-20 view of active traders

size stops at 20 and there is no paging. Only wallets with a computed PnL are ranked, and round-trip hubs (flash-loan, MEV and router wallets with $10B or more of volume that nets to almost nothing) are hidden unless you pass include_hubs=true. Window figures are refreshed about once a day, so they can lag by up to a day, two on Base and HyperEVM.
