Tokens
Search tokens, screen them by activity, read top holders and who bought or sold.
4 tools covering the token side of the on-chain data: find a token, screen the universe by activity, then look at who holds it and who has been trading it. All four work on Ethereum, BSC, Base and HyperEVM.
There are no per-contract price candles — see Candles. The 4 tools below read our own transfer index.
Token tools other than token_search are keyed by contract address, not symbol — start
with a search when the user gives you a ticker.
token_search
Free — 0 credits. Search tokens by name or symbol.
| Parameter | Type | Default | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
query | string | required | Search term (symbol or name) |
chain | enum | ethereum | ethereum, bsc, base, hyperevm |
limit | integer | 10 | Max results |
Returns matching symbols, names, addresses and logos. Addresses are 0x-prefixed lower-case hex, as
in every other token and wallet tool; until 2026-10-19 they came back as bare hex. Because it costs nothing, it is the
natural first hop for every other tool on this page. On hyperevm the registry it searches holds
about 50 tokens, so no match there can mean the token is not in it.
Find the PEPE token on Ethereum.
token_screener
3 credits. Discover tokens by activity inside a window, ranked by one of four metrics, with three filters on top. This is the "what is happening today" tool.
| Parameter | Type | Default | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
chain | enum | ethereum | ethereum, bsc, base, hyperevm |
window | enum | 24h | 24h, 7d, 30d, 90d |
sort | enum | volume | volume, net_inflow, holders, smart_inflow |
limit | integer | 20 | Max tokens, max 100 |
min_volume_usd | number | — | Drop tokens below this 24h volume |
min_holders | integer | — | Drop tokens below this holder count |
smart_money_only | boolean | false | Restrict to smart-money cohort flows |
smart_inflow and smart_money_only are two different knobs: the first ranks by cohort
inflow, the second filters the universe to cohort flows. Combining them narrows hard. Both exist
for ethereum only; on any other chain they are a 400.
What tokens have smart money been accumulating on Ethereum this week?
token_holders
2 credits. Top holders of an ERC-20 token, ranked by cumulative net inflow USD.
| Parameter | Type | Default | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
token_address | string | required | ERC-20 contract address (0x-prefixed) |
chain | enum | ethereum | ethereum, bsc, base, hyperevm |
limit | integer | 10 | Max holders, max 50 |
Returns per holder: wallet, net flow USD, volume USD, transaction count, first and last seen dates, and known labels.
The ranking is by net inflow measured from transfer history, so it answers "who accumulated the most" rather than "who holds the largest balance on chain right now".
The tool scans the whole chain for the token, so the busiest tokens on base take tens of seconds
(WETH on base measured about 50 seconds; a token on hyperevm about 2 seconds).
Show me the top 25 holders of this token, with labels.
token_transfers
2 credits. Who bought and who sold a token in a period, with quantities and USD values.
| Parameter | Type | Default | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
token_address | string | required | Contract address (0x-prefixed) |
period | enum | 24h | 1h, 24h, 7d, 30d |
tab | enum | sold | bought for buyers, sold for sellers |
chain | enum | ethereum | ethereum, bsc, base, hyperevm, all |
Two things to know. The default tab is sold, so a question about buyers needs bought
passed explicitly. And the result size is fixed at the top 10 in the handler — there is no
limit parameter to raise.
