Hyperliquid whale: who funded it on HyperEVM?
Look the whale up on Hyperliquid, then ask for its earliest inbound transfers on HyperEVM under the same address; the sender of the first HYPE is often the system address that moves HYPE over from the wallet's own Hyperliquid balance.
Two calls on one address. /v1/hyperliquid/wallets/{address} says whether the account is a whale: equity, size and
PnL cohorts, and lifetime bridge deposits and withdrawals. /v1/onchain/wallets/{address}/first-funder?chain=hyperevm
returns the first inbound HYPE transfer and the first priced token transfer that address received on HyperEVM, each
with its sender, the sender's label, time and transaction hash. The parameters are on Wallet summary and Wallet first funder.
Quick answer
# is it a whale? equity, cohorts and lifetime deposits on Hyperliquid
curl -H "X-API-Key: $VIKE_API_KEY" \
"https://data.vike.io/v1/hyperliquid/wallets/0xb83de012dba672c76a7dbbbf3e459cb59d7d6e36?window=30d"# the earliest inbound HYPE and token transfers of the same address on HyperEVM, with the sender

Captured from the live API on 2026-10-24 at 17:17 UTC. The wallet is cut to its equity, cohorts and lifetime blocks, and the funder's
coverage to three of its notes.

}The account holds $129.8M, which puts it in 4x whale (an account value of $10M or more), and it has bridged $83.7M in
and $124.9M out over its life. On HyperEVM its first HYPE, 10 coins on 2025-06-26, came from 0x2222…2222, labelled
wallet_type: "system": the address that credits HYPE moved over from HyperCore. So this whale funded its HyperEVM
side from its own Hyperliquid balance. Its first priced token, 10 USDT0, came from the zero address, which means it was
minted to the wallet, the way a bridged token arrives.

The same address on Ethereum. Omit chain to ask Ethereum, the default.

It works only when the whale also used HyperEVM
A Hyperliquid account and its HyperEVM wallet share one address, but many whales never touch HyperEVM. Then the
funder call returns found: false with both answers null. When the sender is 0x2222…2222, the money came from the
wallet's own Hyperliquid balance, so the trail leads back to Hyperliquid. Who funded the Hyperliquid account itself
shows up only as a bridge deposit in /ledger, and the on-chain routes cover Ethereum, BSC, Base and HyperEVM only.
The first inbound transfer is not proof of the funder
Native rows hold plain sends only, so HYPE moved by a contract call does not appear, and the first transfer can be later
than the real first funding. HyperEVM history starts at coverage.history_from (2025-02-18 in the capture). Labels are
sparse on HyperEVM, so a null label there says little.
Ask your agent
Connected to the Vike MCP server (https://vike.io/mcp) in Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, ask it in plain words.
The wallet_first_funder tool (2 credits) answers it, with hl_wallet (1 credit) for the account.
Who funded Hyperliquid whale 0xb83de012dba672c76a7dbbbf3e459cb59d7d6e36 on HyperEVM, and how big is its Hyperliquid account?
