Who holds HYPE? Top holders

/v1/hyperliquid/hype/holders ranks wallets by HYPE held on Hyperliquid spot plus HYPE staked, with USD at one current price and each wallet's cohort labels.

GET /v1/hyperliquid/hype/holders answers it in one call, as the HYPE holder leaderboard: per wallet, the spot balance, the staked amount and their total, with USD values at one current HYPE price. Largest first by default, up to 500 per page, with a cursor that keeps rank counting across pages. The full parameter list is on HYPE holders.

Amounts are HYPE; the _usd fields multiply them by hype_price_usd ($75.529 here). The top holder had 238.1M HYPE staked and almost nothing on spot; the third held 53.4M HYPE on spot and none staked.

Which big holders are also good traders. pnl_cohort is today's realized-PnL label of the wallet; unknown means fewer than 10 closed trades.

Before you rely on it

Balances are last-known; account_value 0.0 can mean no account

Each balance is the last one seen for that wallet, so a stale balance can sit beside a fresh price; the USD columns use one current price for every row. account_value reads 0.0 both for a wallet with an empty perp account and for one with no perp account snapshot at all, and the top three here are all 0.0. Staked is the amount delegated to validators; pending rewards are not added.

Not a share of supply, and not only people

The response carries no supply figure, so it cannot say what percentage a wallet holds. Only spot balances and stakes on Hyperliquid itself are counted; HYPE held elsewhere, HyperEVM included, is not. Ranks can include contracts and protocol addresses: look up a top address, such as rank 3's 0x2222…2222, before you treat it as a person.
