Hyperliquid Liquidations API — Free Liquidation Data
Free Hyperliquid liquidation data over a REST API: market-wide liquidation events — not one wallet at a time — by coin, wallet, direction and size, newest first and paged up to 5,000 rows a call; where open positions would liquidate if price moved; and which coins have the most open interest close to liquidation. Events are inferred from 5-minute position snapshots — a position that disappears while its mark was within 5% of its liquidation price.
Coverage: Market-wide events inferred from 5-minute position snapshots · filter by coin, wallet, direction (long or short), start, end · liquidation-price heatmap per coin · at-risk open interest by cohort. Free — API key — delivered via API.

Getting started
curl -H "X-API-KEY: vk_..." "https://data.vike.io/v1/hyperliquid/liquidations?coin=BTC&direction=long&limit=50"
import requests
r = requests.get("https://data.vike.io/v1/hyperliquid/liquidations",
params={"coin": "ETH", "limit": 100},
headers={"X-API-KEY": "vk_..."}, timeout=30)
r.raise_for_status()
for liq in r.json()["liquidations"]:
print(liq)
Example applications
- Liquidation cascades after a move
If you are studying whether a sharp move was forced selling, pull every liquidation on that coin between start and end and size it against the move — by side, and by the account-size rung of the wallets that were closed.
- Where the next cascade would start
If the question is where leveraged size would be forced out, the per-coin liquidation-price heatmap shows the price levels where open notional clusters, and /liquidations/risk ranks coins by how much of their open interest is already close.
